Classroom in a Bag® is a nonprofit committed to supporting teachers so they can remain in education and serve students effectively.

Across the country, teachers spend hundreds — sometimes thousands — of dollars each year out of pocket to equip their classrooms. Many quietly carry the weight of unmet needs, limited resources, and rising expectations.

We believe teachers should not have to carry that burden alone.

That’s where we come in — by providing resources and ongoing support.

Classroom in a Bag operates through a year-round support model called 180 Days of Support.

Rather than focusing on one-time donations or seasonal support, our mission is to create ongoing, visible support that helps teachers feel valued throughout the entire school year.

Classroom in a Bag is built on the belief that teachers are more likely to remain in the profession when they feel supported and valued. By providing classroom supply kits and ongoing appreciation initiatives, we reduce financial stress and increase morale. Through our 180 Days of Support model, students and the community actively contribute to these efforts, helping create a culture of consistent, visible support. When educators feel equipped, recognized, and supported by the community, they are more likely to continue serving their students and school communities.
